Introducing FY22/23 Incoming Board of Directors Members

Our 2022 Annual Meeting is less than two weeks away at the beautiful Pendry Park City on August 15. I’m looking forward to catching up with friends, announcing the recipient of the prestigious Myles Rademan Spirit of Hospitality Award, and sharing an exciting new vision of managed tourism that balances our environment, lifestyle, and economy.

We will also welcome six outstanding new board members and a new Chair, whose fresh leadership will be critical. Let’s introduce them – but first, I want to acknowledge the stellar service of Sundance Institute Managing Director Betsy Wallace as she completes her tenure as Board Chair. Thank you, Betsy! 

Brooks Kirchheimer is the incoming Board Chair. Brooks is co-owner of Hearth and Hill restaurant and Leave Room for Dessert Eateries. His businesses donate to the Community Foundation and the Hive Family Collective and serve meals to needy families. When COVID hit, Brooks distributed free groceries to associates, helped the EATS foundation raise $40,000, and offered discounted menu items. That compassion in action is one reason we are thrilled to have him serve as Chair.

Susie English is Vice President of Marketing at Deer Valley Resort. Before becoming VP, Susie was the resort’s Director of Marketing for many years and previously served as Director of Communications with Ski Utah. A Park City native, her ties to Deer Valley go back to her parents, who both worked there, her father as Director of Mountain Operations for 30 years. 

Revice Jordan is the founder of POSH Management Group, offering concierge and management services such as groceries, gift purchases, banking, dry cleaning, airport transportation, dining, event tickets, and even notarization. Revice is celebrating POSH’s fifth anniversary this year. A US Navy veteran, he credits the lessons of military life with helping him reach his goals.

Pat Matheson is executive Director of Mountainlands Community Housing Trust, dedicated to creating a built environment that serves all people equitably and respects the environment. Pat brings ingenuity, entrepreneurial spirit, and a tremendous sense of community service to the Board.

Rosa Salguero of Top Shelf Services grew up in Park City and is a veteran of one of the community’s leading service businesses. Passionate about the outdoors and the careful management of Park City’s growth and development, Rosa strongly supports sustainable tourism planning.

Rob Sergent co-owns Alpine Distilling with his spouse Sara. Winners of 2021 Utah Green Business Award, Alpine Distilling practices waste diversion, sustainable sourcing, and careful water management while supporting Swaner Nature Preserve, Recycle Utah, Park City Education Foundation, and others. Rob has an executive background with the NFL and Johnson & Johnson.

Lora Smith is the Executive Director of the Mountain Trails Foundation, creating, maintaining, and advocating for a connected trail network throughout Park City and the Snyderville Basin. A Parkite for 20 years, she is a Southern New Hampshire University grad and an alum of the University of Utah’s School of Business Executive Leadership and Leadership Park City. 

I am proud of the impressive skills our Board represents, and I look forward to their guidance as we chart a new path in FY23. I want to thank Casey Metzger, who is rotating off the Board,  for his long-time community service. I also need to acknowledge Mike Goar, Jessica Klodnicki, Coleen Reardon, and Tom Fisher, who left the board this year, and those who have admirably stepped up to fill vacancies:  PCMR VP and COO Deirdra Walsh, Interim Summit County Manager Janna Young and Pendry Park City GM Richard Wales.
