Sustainable Tourism Grant

Applications will be accepted April 1 - May 1.

[APPLICATION LINK WILL APPEAR HERE ON APRIL 1]

The Sustainable Tourism Grant was developed to fund programs, initiatives, promotions, and events that help support the objectives outlined in the Park City & Summit County Sustainable Tourism Plan. Applicants may request an award of up to $20,000 to partially or fully fund eligible Sustainable Tourism projects.

This grant program will help support diverse projects across the tourism economy, however some restrictions apply:

  • Project must be located in Summit County, UT
  • Applications must identify how their projects ‘establish and/or promote’ tourism in Summit County.
  • Government/public organizations are eligible only in collaboration with other non-profit and private sector organizations
  • Funds cannot be used to support employee salaries, but may be used to hire consultants providing outside expertise (e.g., consultant to evaluate event waste management practices)
  • To be eligible to receive grant funds, applicants must be a member of the Park City Chamber of Commerce in good standing as of May 2, 2026.

Note for event organizers: We offer ‘Destination Driver’ sponsorships to support special events throughout Summit County with general funding. Please reach out to Becca Gerber (beccagerber@visitparkcity.com) to determine if you qualify. If you’d like to receive additional funding from the Sustainable Tourism Grant, grant awards will only be considered for expanding specific sustainability initiatives.

Selection process

Applications are first vetted through an internal review to ensure eligibility and that all required materials have been submitted. Incomplete applications may be rejected.

The PCCVB will appoint a committee to review eligible applications. Applications will be scored using a standardized rubric. Grants will be awarded based on application scores, availability of grant funding, and Park City Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau Board final approval.
