When Casey Metzger opened Top Shelf Professional Bar Services in 2008, he had already been a Parkite for almost ten years. "I put myself through college working on the mountain as a ski instructor and bartender, and I ski bummed for 'just long enough,'" he recalls. "I cut my teeth in the business on Main Street and recognized an opportunity to serve our community and visitors."
Top Shelf provides mobile bartending and consulting services that help customers celebrate memorable occasions safely and enjoyably. Casey's team brings a special sparkle to any event – enjoying it almost as much as his clients. "Sometimes we cater a special moment for people we've known for years, and I love that personal, small-town touch," he says. "Other times, we entertain visitors from around the world who are here to enjoy the life we live every day. I love the never-ending change of pace. It makes Park City unique."
Casey's love for service extends well beyond Top Shelf. He raises funds for local nonprofits, serves on civic committees and recently finished a stint as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Park City Chamber/Bureau. "I enjoy giving back because I connect with incredible people, and it just feels good. This town has given so much to my family and me, it's the least I can do." Casey and his wife Heather are further deepening their local ties, raising "three amazing young boys" here.
"Park City is growing as an event town, and Top Shelf has helped raise many glasses in that effort," Casey smiles. "I'm grateful the community has supported us and allowed me to do what I love.”
